Hello Techknow Visitors,
Here's a simple but effective yet lame way to scan a network when you don't want to install a tool or use a tool at all.
I use this sometimes because I administer a lot of networks and this comes in handy every now and then when I can share clipboard easily and need to explore a network.
for /L %%a in (1, 1, 255) do ping -n 1 -l 8 -w 8 -i 8 192.168.10.%%a && IF %ERRORLEVEL%==0 ECHO 192.168.10.%%a>>IPLIST.TXT
Be sure to change the network according to yours on 2 places in the line!
