[VBS] Maximize Windows Sound Master Volume
« on: January 21, 2016, 02:43:44 PM »
Hello TechKnow members and visitors,

here's a neat little script to maximize the Windows Master Volume in VBS! It basically opens up the volume mixer and presses page up a couple of times, that's all.

There's no easy way of scripting something to maximize or increase the sound volume, one would expect this to be a registry setting but it seems it's not!

Code: (VolumeMAX.vbs) [Select]
Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
y = WshShell.run("sndvol -f",0, false)
WScript.sleep 500
WshShell.SendKeys "{PGUP}"
WshShell.SendKeys "{PGUP}"
WshShell.SendKeys "{PGUP}"
WshShell.SendKeys "{PGUP}"
WshShell.SendKeys "{PGUP}"
WshShell.SendKeys "{PGUP}"
WScript.sleep 250
WshShell.SendKeys "{ENTER}"
Wscript.Quit(0)

Enjoy!
