Sorry, I didn't found any other place to post it. I have the 4.1.1 version of Android. There is no way I can downgrade, or do something with it?

Hey Denis0102,

You have a A13 there, lucky you, those are better than the 8650's ;)

So what could i do with it?

EDIT: I found out that maybe my tablet is A13B, it looks exactly the same, but the specs seems to be different from the one in the forum.

Hey denis0102,

You can try the faaaaaastjb mod in the A13 ROMs section, or a safe approach like using the Uberizer and mod some stuff, remove pre-installed bloatware and such, so you don't need to risk reflashing.

If you're an experienced tech try the ROM MOD, if not I would recommend the safer approach.

My device is not detected in PC. Both mass storage and ADB is not working. I had to use another uzimage when preparing the sd card. Any help would be appreciated. And thanks for the rom!!

Hello Fireshadow_GJ4,

This could be due some other problem, better use the TechKnow ToolKit to enable Wireless ADB on your device, then connect using the Uberizer, this way you can omit driver installation ;-) You can manually ADB using the ADB.exe in the \changer_files directory of the Uberizer, otherwise it may say "ADB Version out of date" and kill the wireless connection you established using the Uberizer.

I had the same problem on my WM8650, ADB just didn't install, the PC didn't recognize it. Later I've learned I needed to use a different USB cable, but with the same connectors.

BTW, make sure ADB is enabled in the settings.

Currently I'm using wireless adb. I switched back  to my old rom and everything works good. I can connect using my adb. When I use uberoid, everything is far better than original rom. I'm sure it is not a driver problem, because it is now even showing in the device manager.

That's odd, maybe the uzImage differs? What happens if you flash Uberoid but use the uzImage?

Wireless adb should work now, you use TechKnow ToolKit ?

Ah!

I believe Uberoid has a fixed uzImage for that onboard, it's a special option.

If it's not default in Uberoid, it should be somewhere on the forum, let me know if I can help you find it.

It flashes fine. It is just not detected in PC. Both adb and mount as usb doesn't work. It is not even showing in device manager.

I still think it doesn't work due the kernel.

What I find odd is that wireless doesn't work, or does it work? It's not completely clear to me now.

I know cable connection adb has problems, but wireless as well?

BTW wireless adb doesn't show up in device manager :)

I think we are having a misunderstanding.  :android-lol:
Wifi, wireless adb all works. The only thing not working is cable mode,i.e neither USB nor adb.

That wont work unless you have a special cable ..and you will be lucky if you dont fry your device if you are using a type a to type a usb cable.
That will put voltage on the same wire from the tablet and the computer ... not good !
Are you using the 2 usb port and ethernet dongle ?

Not that one USB to USB connection. These two
Settings>USB>Mass Storage
Settings>USB>ADB
No matter in which I put a checkmark, it is not detected in my PC.

What?  Anser the question

1)  Are you using the  2 usb and one ethernet port dongle ?  If you do not use that and the ports are directly on the device then you dont have a tablet that uberoid was built for ..
2)  None of those setting will work if you are using the wrong cable ..or the device is not one that uberoid was built for ..

Ports are directly on the device. It is the right cable as I can connect it in my stock rom. I guess I have to stick with wireless adb. Anyways, thanks for answering questions.

Hey Fireshadow,

I think the xtra option for this fix can run.

In Uberoid there is a xtra menu, there is a option something like CUKN, it replaces the kernel.

Reflash and see what that does :)

Hi all...

  I have a 10" Netbook WM8650, I tried the reflash with option 18  and now the camera doesn't work...
  So I tried to replace uZimage, but still not working...

  This is my ChipSet:

 Processor: WM8650
 RAM:         256Mb
 Display:     10" (1024x600 resolution)
 Wifi:           RT5370N
 Audio:       Via VT1603
 Ethernet:   Via VT6117

 WebCAM:  DF-X838 (with SM3732LA IC)

  With option 18 everything works fine, except the WebCam (the system crash if I open the Camera aplication).

  Someone had problem like that? it's possible fix this?
I will be grateful for any help!   :android-smile:

  Hi twjordo.

  Thanks foy your reply...

  The problem is that I won this netbook bricked, the ENV.bin generated on instalation is "attached"

 I have stratacted the configuration String with "Word Extractor" and inserted on the env_uboot, this lines:

setenv wmt.gpo.camera1 1:0:7:D8110040:D8110080:D81100C0
setenv wmt.camera.param 0:0

  But still doesn't working...  I think the previous owner have tried the reflash and Bricked the netbook, but don't have saved the ENV.bin Backup....   :'(

  I hope someone own the same model of netbook to give some help on the env_uboot configuratio to fix the Webcam (USB camera DF-X838 with SM3732LA IC)...

  if I knew what each parameter means, I could try some configuration manually...  : /

this is the info from the env.bin you posted....

wmt.audio.i2s=vt1603
wmt.gpo.camera1=1:0:7:D8110040:D8110080:D81100C0
wmt.io.touch=1:uor615x:0:1024:600
wmt.camera.param=0:0
wmt.model.no=jinghan_10inch_lvds1603

i use notepad++ for viewing and editing and saving... here it is if you would like to grab it
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/

jinghan_10inch_lvds1603  :android-question:

try searching the forum for that model - HcH added support for it back in Uberoid v11....  the newest Uberoid 12.1 has it listed as option 47=jinghan_10inch_lvds1603_wifibtn 10inch ~ i would give re-flashing a try  ;)

if this env.bin was not from the original firmware then you will need to flash other options and note what does and does not work... hopefully you find an option that gives you camera function

  Thank very much for your  replie...  :android-smile:

  With the option 47, the camera doesn't work, and the netbook don't "shut off" (just reboot)...

  I tryed massive reflashs with many options, but I seems Doesn't work...  : /

so I joined the camera config from all 137 Env_uboot scripts available on the Uberoid (attached)... And tried inserting one per one on my Env_Uboot... But stil doesn't working...

  With this config:

setenv wmt.gpo.camera1 1:0:7:D8110040:D8110080:D81100C0
setenv wmt.camera.param 1:1
setenv wmt.gpo.camera 1:1:7:D8110040:D8110080:D81100C0
setenv wmt.model.no yongpeng_9.7inch_usbcamera  ->I don't have included this line

 my netbook stoped whith the "Crash" when open the camera aplication, now it give a message saying "the application camera has stopped unexpectedly"  (I think this might be considered a step forward ...)

  May be changing one of this params (1:1:7:) is possible to fix it... I will try something like that...

  EDIT:

  I have pluged the netbook into a Serial Debug term, and qhen i try open the camera aplication, I get this messages from Serial term:

localhost login: usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71
usb 3-2: device not accepting address 5, error -71
usb 3-2: device not accepting address 6, error -71
hub 3-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2

  So i think the parameters "1:0:7" seems related with the Adress of camera...
Now I have a giant (up to 2000 lines) LOG of Android instalation... I take a look at this log...

  And this lines made me curious...

WonderMedia CMOS camera register OK
usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo
USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0)
