OH , help me

I bought one from taobao.com  , he said his model is GV-1  and no bluetooth

I found that  in PCB  there is no WL1271  ( Wifi&Bluetooth chipset)  but it has small device like usb wifi

after update this firmware , it almost works.    the wifi doesn't work anymore.   I think there are no driver for this wifi .

oh god , how can i solve this problem  .  I don't have original firmware too.

Help me

WiFi works good but i don't see bluetooth setting under menu.but have not tried any bluetooth keyboard or deviceswith Alpha.

This is made from HAMA firmware and has APP Centre,SAM4.1 (App store),Cloud Print to name a few.

PS: standard firmware latest update U110781_1203160_HW.osk that is better than Hama and if HardcoreHacker don't mind if i post it here.

Hey Johnny Bravo,

Thanks for the latest firmware link, when I have some more time on my hands I'll make a new versions based off that ROM.

Do you see many improvement on this update of the firmware? (I'm downloading now, I expect there is no changelog)

Cheers!

Hi

Finaly my fv1 work after several reboot. :android-lol:

I wanted change the autorisation for the market like in this blog : http://blog.apedroid.com/2012/04/how-to-get-most-out-of-hama-internet-tv_9636.html
But it does not work.
After i modify the build.prop file and it's working !

I changed the lines ( ro.product.device,ro.product.name, ro.product.board) with :"sec_smdkv210" or "smdkv210" by "GT-I9100" after reboot the permission for the market are ok

sorry for my english !

:android-lol: still on travels sorry but will keep you up 2 date with testing once home

i have no problems with boot or market on my unit but been a week since i last played with it

also seeing that other units /tablet with similar Samsung PV210 runs android 2.3 or higher what is the chances of trying to make this work on FV1 ? Know it might/will take some effort but could be nice.

Keep up the good work and no rush ... as a man needs time with his girlfriend too ....... !!!

Hey mr Bravo,

Haha, you just enjoy your nice holiday with ms Bravo ;)

Well, I could give it a shot to port the 2.3 to this model, I'll have a look at the 2.3 firmware and maybe there's some way to achieve this. If you're back home pass me the download link for that firmware and I'll have a look.

Also I'm working on a ToDo list for this ROM, if you or anybody else reading this have anything to add to the ToDo list post a reply :)

Hey Johnny Bravo,

Since I don't have this box @ home, what would you like to see on the ICS firmware?

Stuff like, latest google play store with full access, sd card boosts, preinstalled must have apps, stuff like that :)

BTW, could you also perform a benchmark test on the unmodded ICS firmware ? I want to see what could be impoved!

Thanks,

HcH

Hey mate,

I must admit not having taken a look at the ICS package even though I downloaded it and it's on my hd somewhere :)

A new version? Cool! If you can get that running, register all the problems/rom mod wishes, and let me know :)
